KEITH SMITH
Boasting over 30 years' experience in the global Telecommunications ICT industry, and over 25 years as a C-level Executive. His most recent posting was as CEO of  ​e-Learning Jamaica, where he led the turnaround of the Tablets in Schools Incentive, Tablets for Teachers and Laptops for Student Programmes.​​Throughout his career Keith has successfully led the implementation of large, disruptive and innovative ICT Programmes and has held leadership roles with PA Consulting, Deloitte and Touche, Cable and Wireless, Air Jamaica and JPS.  He has also provided consulting services to several clients in the Caribbean.​

EVELYN-BIRCH
Hillary is a graduate of The University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology, and a wealth of knowledge gained in the field of Customer Service and Sales.She has truly redefined the position of Software Programme Manager, with special expertise in requirements gathering. A true perfectionist and a natural technical being, she has been relentlessly effective with the leading of the development team and ensuring each customer’s project is completed beyond their expectations.

Dewan Barnes is an accomplished professional in the field of software development and a devout Christian. With a BSc in Computer Science, he has made significant contributions to the tech industry throughout his career.​​Currently serving as the Head of Product Development, Dewan brings over 8 years of expertise in building innovative software solutions. He is a seasoned expert in navigating complex projects with efficiency and precision. ​​As a certified Scrum Master, he exemplifies leadership and fosters a collaborative work environment that empowers teams to deliver exceptional results.​

KAJHA ESCOFFERY
Formerly our top Sales Representative, Kajha has now fully transitioned, after learning all aspects of the business, into our Operations Manager. A driven individual, who has an unrelenting focus on customer experience, dedication to task, integrity, and strong interpersonal skills, she continually exceeds the mark at SMS and has built strong business relationships across the board. An effective leader excelling at streamling operations and increasing productivity, she is a true asset.

Our Managing Director and Co-Founder, Dane Spencer has been in the business of technology for over 13 years, with an educational background in Computer Science & Management Studies. Dubbed a Mobile Consultant Expert based on his track record in the mobile application development arena, Dane has been invited to speak at numerous mobile conferences across the Caribbean including Digicel’s “Meet the Experts” in Jamaica, the TCI trade show in Turks & Caicos and the Trinidad Consumer Trade.

A reliable, results oriented individual with over 20 years of solid experience in Strategic Marketing, General Management, Sales, Client Services and Business Development. She has managed across various industries including the Creative Industries, Financial, Insurance, Shipping, Auto Parts and Bill Payment.Sasha possesses excellent Communications and Time management skills, and manages multiple projects simultaneously, within budget and timelines. She has contributed significantly to the profitability, development and growth of companies worked, providing them with a winning edge in a fiercely competitive marketplace.

CHARMAINE WYNTER-HUNTER
With over 10 years in the field of Human Resources and 8 of those years at the Management level, Charmaine’s experience spans several sectors, namely Tourism, Construction, Logistics, and IT. Charmaine is passionate about helping team members realize their full potential while being strategically aligned to the goals and objectives of the Company.Charmaine’s leadership and interpersonal communication skills have significantly improved the entire team as she drives key HR best practices and initiatives, and provides HR Strategic direction for the Hudson and Spencer group.

DIAHANN SPENCER
Diahann is our resident expert in risk management, corporate governance and customer assurance. She was previously the Business Auditor at Facey Commodity Company Limited, where she was responsible for annual audits, policy compliance reviews and evaluating the company’s risk management framework and risk mitigation practices.Her training includes the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Jamaica Chapter in Enterprise Risk Management Elements of the Process, CIA Review Course Part I and IT Audit/ Security Essentials.

Allistair Thomas is an accomplished IT professional with a proven leadership background, showcasing expertise in project design and implementation. With over a decade of experience, he excels in network and server infrastructure problem-solving. As a certified cybersecurity expert, Allistair possesses deep IT security knowledge. In his dual role at Smart Mobile Solutions Group as Manager of the Service Centre and Technical Services department, he leads teams focused on RMM, EDR, mobile device repairs and refurbishment, demonstrating exceptional coordination and effective solution development for seamless service operations.

In 2008, Mr. Marlon Hudson in collaboration with Mr. Dane Spencer established their “brainchild”, manifesting their idea of supplying Smart Phone devices and related accessories, as well as, the provision of repairs and other IT related services.

Over the past decade, Smart Mobile Solutions has evolved from a wholesale distributor and retailer of mobile phones & accessories, tablets, laptops and desktops, and has grown into a full-service IT Solutions Provider with a regional footprint.

We not only provide Hardware Solutions, but also Device Financing & Protection Plans, Device Management & Maintenance, Repair Services and Software Development Solutions. With over 200 longstanding clients and a customer base in excess of 14,000, we are the first and only full-service, non-carrier mobile support unit in Jamaica, offering such a wide range of Hardware and Software Solutions.

Our Miami branch enables our warehousing and distribution across Latin America and the Caribbean with the aim of establishing our regional footprint.
DIRECTORS
SMS Co-owners Dane Spencer and Marlon Hudson both attended the University of the West Indies, earning their Bachelor’s Degrees simultaneously. Mr. Spencer completed a double major in Computer Science and Management Studies, while Mr. Hudson earned Degrees in Computer Science and Political Science. Their indomitable friendship led them to establish their ‘brainchild’ in 2008. Together, they created a business focused on supplying smartphones and related accessories, as well as offering repairs and other IT services.
